For Reasons Unknown

Okay, so this is the first entry. I've had blogs before and usually quit using them after a few months. Yet, this time I actually want to keep up with this, at least for awhile.

Okay so Friday night I worked on this really annoying research paper for a class that I hate! My professor of World Literature II is the biggest asshole in the world. He's from Nigeria and walks around in traditional African dress all the time. Also, all he does in class is ridicule people because if you think the text has some other meaing than he does, you must be WRONG. This is why I try not to speak in this class. Unfortunately he forces us to and I can't stand it.

The worst part of it is, all the readings have the exact same themes! It's like "yeah I'm from a country that used to be a European colony and I hate white people, religion, and the general state of things." Which is fine, except that's all we've been talking about all semeseter long and I really can't think of anything more to say about it. Dan from my work suggested that I come into class in full African dress and claim that I was born in Africa to missionaries. I think that would really piss him off...

Anyway, later on Friday I went to visit Jess at the Walmart Subway. She had some really interesting stories to tell me about people we know (and don't know,) and I saw just about my entire high school graduating class (Yuck to everone except Jen.) We made plans to take a day trip to Philly on spring break and other stuff since my hours have been cut at work (for some unknown reason) and I only have 19 during my spring break week.

After that Matt, my sister, her boyfriend, and I went midnight bowling for lack of anything better to do. Matt and I won, for sure.

Yesterday, I went to work from 2p-10p because my life sucks. The night was fairly boring except for some chance encounters with a few choice people. Then, Matt and I went to DQ and had some ice cream and afterwards we just went to his house for awhile.

In closing thought, have you ever wondered why some people do the things that they do? I seriously wonder about this, to some degree, every single day. It seems strange to me that some people make a big deal out of the smallest things. I guess it's a difference in the level of maturity, or the amount of illegal substance in ones body.

In total agreement with Jess on that last paragraph. I wonder why people behave in certain ways all the time. I'm also loving the "yuck to everyone but Jen" bit about seeing most of our graduating class. lol
